Welcome to PrimeTrust APA Limited ("PrimeTrust", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and pension-related services (together, the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. About PrimeTrust
PrimeTrust APA Limited is an Accredited Pension Agent licensed by the National Pension Commission (PenCom). We facilitate access to the Personal Pension Plan, enabling self-employed and informal-sector Nigerians to make contributions toward retirement. We act as an agent we do not hold or invest your funds ourselves.
2. Eligibility
To use the Services, you must be at least 18 years old (or a minor enrolled by a qualifying guardian where permitted), be resident in Nigeria, and provide accurate identity information, including a valid National Identification Number (NIN) where required.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details, PIN, and device secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.
4. Contributions
Contributions you make are channelled to your Retirement Savings Account (RSA) held with your chosen Pension Fund Administrator (PFA), with funds held by a licensed Pension Fund Custodian (PFC). Contributions are subject to the rules of the Personal Pension Plan and applicable PenCom regulations.
5. Funds and custody
PrimeTrust does not hold your contributions. Your funds are held by a licensed PFC and managed by your chosen PFA. PrimeTrust's role is to onboard you, channel contributions, maintain records, and provide reporting.
6. Withdrawals
Access to your pension savings is governed by PenCom's regulations for the Personal Pension Plan. Withdrawals may only be made under qualifying conditions as set out by the regulator. We will guide you on the applicable rules.
7. Fees
Any fees or charges applicable to your account or contributions will be disclosed to you transparently and applied within the regulated framework.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose, not to attempt to disrupt or compromise the platform, and not to provide false information or impersonate another person.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrimeTrust is not liable for losses arising from the investment performance of pension funds (which are managed by your PFA), from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, or from your failure to keep your account secure.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes, and continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
